Had that dream again. The one where I find he isn't dead after all but faked his death to get away from me.


It always takes a while for reality to reassert itself after something like that. It helps that today's (yesterday's) reality was a particularly fine one. But still.

When it seems like the night will last forever

Just learned that a member of what I consider my community - no, my extended family-of-choice - has been found dead this morning. She wasn't someone I, personally, knew especially well but what I knew I liked and admired, and many people that I love knew and loved her. I can feel the shock and pain rippling through the community from across the world.

Kelly was only 28. They say that those whom the Gods love die young. That's in no way a consolation to those left behind, but it seems to fit - such a bright, sparky soul that Kelly was, who couldn't love her?

Ack.
