One light, burning fiercely

Last night Spike found a two litre plastic bottle on our late walk. The cone prevented him from getting his mouth to it, so he batted it about charmingly with his paws and the edge of the cone and really enjoyed himself.

So I thought I'd film him doing the same thing in daylight. This did not quite go according to plan.

Traumatics thick and fast, your faith in me can last

remembered to recharge the batteries and take my camera with me walking dogs today. say hi to my favourite neighbours and their terriers, Chester (the smooth black and tan) and Billy (the excitable rough coated one).

Also, some video.

I thought I'd taken some video with the terriers as well but apparently not; it's far too easy with my camera to press the stand by button by accident.

five pics of happy dogs under the cut )

I can hear someone - probably Barry - banging on someone else's door out in the hallway. Whoever's door it is, they're plainly not in or not answering; this isn't discouraging Barry any. *rolleyes*

It makes me feel strangely alive

So I am walking the dogs this morning, and I see a cushion. As in, a whole-body-sized cushion, designed to be tied onto a sunlounger or the like. And it's in the middle of Woodbury Avenue, and traffic is swerving around it. Now Woodbury Avenue is already narrow enough that people have to stop and let each other through if anyone's parked there, and I didn't think it was a great idea to leave the thing there. So I went to move it.

I'd only had one cup of coffee, or I'd have realised what was about to happen.

Hilarity ensues )
