Like a streak of sheet lightnin'

Tested Squishy's new long line in the park. It is TEH AWESOME. It's not terribly long but it's long enough for short ball throws, and he was SO happy to finally be allowed a turn.

We also wandered around a bit with me holding the end. And I tested his recall while doing that, and instant response. I am so pleased with my Squisher!

yayyy!

The phone rang while Squish and I were watching the Stargate movie (I'm having an SG1 nostalgia-fest and am watching it all over from the very beginning) and yayy! it was [livejournal.com profile] crzmslmaven!

so much fun! we talked about dogs and cats and dogs and knitting and dogs and Neopets and dogs and stuff and every third sentence on both sides was "Spike, stop that!" or "Tink, leave the damn yarn alone" or "Squish, the cat doesn't WANT your damn bone" or "Be QUIET Beowulf", and I loves my Petunia, I do!

*happydance*

I also spoke to Miss Aida Pointy Cat, and she spoke to me back. Her voice sounds amazingly like Hamish's, and rather backs up my belief that my moggies have some Siamese ancestry.
