The phone rang while Squish and I were watching the Stargate movie (I'm having an SG1 nostalgia-fest and am watching it all over from the very beginning) and yayy! it was [livejournal.com profile] crzmslmaven!

so much fun! we talked about dogs and cats and dogs and knitting and dogs and Neopets and dogs and stuff and every third sentence on both sides was "Spike, stop that!" or "Tink, leave the damn yarn alone" or "Squish, the cat doesn't WANT your damn bone" or "Be QUIET Beowulf", and I loves my Petunia, I do!

*happydance*

I also spoke to Miss Aida Pointy Cat, and she spoke to me back. Her voice sounds amazingly like Hamish's, and rather backs up my belief that my moggies have some Siamese ancestry.

Some actually do - when I videotaped a sheepdog trial and played it for Spike he tried to jump through the screen, and my mother's cat loves wildlife shows. But in Squish's case, it's more just keeping me company and being a self-heating licky footrest while I watch TV. He's a great dog to just relax and chill with. I love Spike more than my life, but he's not at all a relaxed or relaxing person.

I feel kinda bad you didn't get my most popular interjection, which is "Tink, get the cat's head OUT of your mouth already, Christ!"

Another time!

Spike didn't do his incredibly popular "leap from the dog couch to the futon with his dinner bowl in his mouth" routine either, but you generally have to visit in person to provoke that one :D

sometimes, as a result of my dyslexia, if I'm reading livejournal real fast and your username pops up, I'll often think "ceser millan..."
because it starts with a "c," ends with an "n," and has letters in between that for some reason seem to go with that name.

I thought you should know, at the expense of making myself sound crazy.

You got to talk to the pointy cat! I'm jealous!

I'm glad you had a fun afternoon. I had to talk to my mother. Less fun.

I did! Aida said "Mau!" and I said "Mau!" back, and all of my cats looked at me with "WTF?" expressions on their faces, it was hilarious :D
