Handy Household Hints from Black Dog HQ: denture soaking tablets are better at toilet-cleaning than toilet cleaner. There was a nasty discoloured patch on the bottom that the limescale-dissolving blue stuff wasn't shifting, but it's gone now. The tablets only cost 30p for a tube of thirty, too.

I know diet Coke's supposed to work as well, but I don't have the foul stuff in the house. The toilet cleaner would probably taste better.

I'm almost the least houseproud person I know but I do hate to have a nasty toilet...

the other day i vacuumed the lounge and wiped down the kitchen tiles... but the bathroom - that I am saving for an 'I must punish myself with heartless backbreaking labour' day ;)

Cleaning house is like heroin addiction used to be. All that work and hassle for a temporary feeling of satisfaction, then as soon as you relax for a minute it's all to do all over again! Madness.
