If he were a man (and had his balls back) I'd marry him, no question. But it would have to be either/or - dog-love is so strongly platonic, I wouldn't be able to swap and switch the way I love him like that.

...as it is, it's sort of like the mythical ideal of Courtly Love. Very romantic, sensual even, but not sexual.
