Do I really feel the way I feel?

A little game to make me feel better...

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now (even if we don't speak often), please post a comment with a completely made up and fictional memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, good or bad, but it has to be fake.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people don't actually remember about you.

Oh, you surely remember the one time we met in your flat and played chess the entire evening? That was fun, we should do that again! :D

Soon. But don't expect me to let you win this time...

[identity profile] johi36.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
You let me win?! I should have known, I usually suck at chess! I was really drunk too, wasn't I? Oh dear...

You know, I will always look back fondly on that day we spent together. There was you, fully clothed and tied by your toes to an elderberry bush in the corner of your living room beign forced to watch endless reruns of Pokemon. All you realy wanted to be was naked watching the Sisko. You are so cute when you are terrified. I recall sitting on the couch being fed peeled grapes by the cabana boy and enjoying your screams thoroughly.

Ahhhh... The good old days.

*shudders*

I still bear the mental scars. "Pika-pika-pika-CHU!"

*snerk* That is kind of the point you know.

Go Team Rocket!

Just don't ever try and make me wear that Meowth costume again, that's all...

[identity profile] james-the-evil1.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I am scared you know that much about Pokemon
I at least have the excuse that I had to watch it when I was taking care of my ex's son

[identity profile] johi36.livejournal.com 2005-11-30 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
I have to admit that I enjoy playing the games on my GameBoy (I'm 26, just for the record) *blushes* ;)
I hate the show, though!!! Have seen it once and that's more than enough! LOL

Ok Squirtle ;-)

Well, there was that one time we passed each other after what seemed like years. Was it years? You'd think it would be long enough to forget. Despite how clever you think you are, I think it took you a moment to recognize my face and let the tide of memories rush at you. You might have rushed at me if it hadn't been for the restraints the Constable's men had slapped on you. Was it the earring that got to you or the prylar robes? I didn't know your kind could foam at the mouth.

Teradak embra ensahelm ran embra. Daran tareen!

PS -- How did you get out of that situation? My curiousity gets the best of me sometimes.

Mwuahaha!

Prylar robes always make me drool a little, I find; that napped-velvet texture and the odour of incense brings back such happy memories of long, golden afternoons at that monastery in Rakantha Province back in the day. Such a shame I was forced to order the aerial bombardment - some day when we have more leisure time you must let me know how you managed to survive it.

As to my arrest and subsequent events - well, my name was never added to any official war criminal lists, you know. In these enlightened days it was a relatively simple matter to convince Starfleet Security it was a simple case of mistaken identity.

Even so, it'll be a while before I draw attention to myself by doing that on the Promenade again.

We really should have dinner sometime. In public. I could whip up quite a dinner of veklivar, sem'hal stew, and hasperat followed by I'danian spice pudding and Perelian ginger tea. Or would you prefer red leaf tea? Or perhaps you'd prefer someone else entirely prepare the meal.

OOC: I keep that link in my bookmarks too ;-)

[identity profile] lizblackdog.livejournal.com 2005-11-30 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
What, and miss out on your hasperat? But I shall join you in the kitchen. Sem'hal stew requires a subtle touch with the herbs that - forgive me - you never quite mastered.

And springwine, I think. And Kai Winn souffle (http://www.littlereview.com/goddesslouise/art/lifesup/wintoast.jpg) for dessert.

The Oktoberfest we attended and quaffed vast quantities of ale. And then you stood on the table and conducted a rousing chorus of the Hedgehog Song and attempted the Can-Can.

I said a fake memory, dear...

[identity profile] huntingdon.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
You mean that actually happened?

Does that mean Helga was real too? :D

I still have her telephone number somewhere...

Remember the time we bumped into each other in Paris? I was out of my head on absinthe and you were with some gorgoues Viking Love god, the name of whom I never did get. Which was a pity really after all the fun we had in the hotel room that afternoon...

Oh. him? That was Helga's (http://www.livejournal.com/users/lizblackdog/184835.html?thread=1323779#t1323779) little brother. He was rather nice, wasn't he?

Memories...

Do you remember?

It was Venice. We'd just finished the Campese job. That was the one where you first showed me how a nice wax polish on the blade makes it less likely to develop a loving relationship with the principal. That was smooth. I hate losing good steel... You said you liked to use beeswax because it smelled better. I said you should use Vaseline because you always seemed to have a spare jar (G).

And then we went to Piazza de San Marco and watched the pigeons attack the early tourists and pickpockets for seeds. The sun was not long risen and the early morning mist still hung round the square. As each breath of wind blew a pocket of it our way, I wondered if the next one would be an old job come back to say hi. And then we went for breakfast at that restaurant down an impossible alley and feasted on zucchini and onion soup, green beans, and mushrooms.

Do you remember?

There was the time that you and I were stuck on a raft in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, with only a gallon can of water left between us, the sun beating down on us. We were in the doldrums, so no wind to take us anywhere, although the currents drifted us towards the sargasso sea.

We got lucky of course, just as our water was about to run out and we were contemplating drinking blood instead, our raft ground to a halt amidst the clusters of seaweed and we could see a tall ship stuck. So we took our chances and half swam, half crawled across the seaweed to the ship, which turned out to be an old clipper. It must have been there for ages and ages, but for some reason or other, the water in the barrels was still fresh, and the biscuits were still fresh.

We should have known, of course. The fresh water and food should have alerted us to the fact that something wasn't quite right. You don't find fresh water and food on board a clippership that has been stuck in the sargasso sea for well over a hundred years...

My favourite memory was a few months ago, when we broke into the offices of BskyB. Me, armed with a can of fosters, and you with a smirnoff ice..
For a few, glorious minutes, all that was heard on any television anywhere was our rendition of "The Hedgehog Can't be buggered at all..."

Ahh, happy days.

i hope you remember the time we went skydiving over niagara falls as well as i do - the look of terror on the face of the guy in the barrel was too funny!

I remember, or should I say I think I remember, when we set out to drink a pint in every pub in London. Anything anyboby says we did will be flatly denied unless they have photographic evidence. You haven't been approached by anyone wanting hush money have you?

[identity profile] james-the-evil1.livejournal.com 2005-11-29 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, there was the time I came over & hung up that swing & put you in it & we censored and then we censored and then we were afraid we'd have to take you to the ER for removal but then censored censored. So since everything seemed OK, I got brought in the Doberman, and censored with smooth peanut butter of course, never crunchy, and then censored and we tried not to alugh about the little socks.
Then we got cleaned up and really got down to serious censored and no to mention censored!
What a GREAT time!
Good thing your neighbors believed us about the puddles coming from a broken pipe...

waking up bleary-eyed in a hotel in Las Vegas, you in the Elvis costume and me as a policewoman, and a fresh marriage certificate signed "Mrs and Mister Ashley J Williams" was the first thing we laid eyes upon ;p

I remember the time that you had me come over to your house in order to watch you dance in front of the O'brien caricature (?). I'll never forget the confused look on Spike's face when he saw what you were doing.
