It was all sunny and the daisies and dandelions hadn't been mown yet, so I thought I'd get pretty pictures of Spike lying in the sun. Instead, I got this. I love my arsehole dog.

I had to wave chicken about to get him to look at me.

Why the fuck does LJ default to bloody rich text mode when I post pics? I can't work rich text mode! I had to copy/cut/delete entry/paste the source code back in to get it to behave so I could use an LJ cut like decent folks. Gah.

Oh wow. Pretty!

Say, what kind of harness is that on Spike?

It's a Halti harness. (http://www.companyofanimals.co.uk/halti-harness.php) If I use it with the leash clipped to his chest as well as his back he's unable to pull on the leash at all. I usually don't, unless I'm lugging heavy shopping or feeling really short on patience myself, because I'd rather just teach him not to pull and it's more fun for him to have the extra leash length, but it's a useful card to have up my sleeve.

Mostly, I use it because even when he's not being pully, he does these sudden jerks forward sometimes, and he was hurting his throat doing it when he was just on a collar.
