I just spent a boatload of money on something I really needed to buy, and we're basically broke now. :[ I took a look at the Dogs Trust website and I shouldn't have. I'm in tears because I want ALL THE DOGS that are on there, and I'm also sooooo sad to see that so many of them need homes. not that I wasn't aware of it before, but you know. bah.
whew then. I didn't think they were going to get hurt, anyway, but still, it's too bad there aren't more people who are willing to give GOOD homes to those lovelies.
If only more landlords would allow pets, I bet most of the rescue dogs and cats would have homes. I think all landlords who don't allow pets should be forced to spend a week in the local animal control shelter where they do have to kill animals if they don't get adopted soon enough in the euthanasia room.
I'd sponsor you, assuming it could be done without too much effort, because I'm lazy.
Also, I just attempted to remember -- was it you that created a new journal for your pets? I know that someone did other than cottonmanifesto, and I thought 'You know, I should add that journal' as I was scrolling through just back from vacation, and I didn't immediately and now I forgot. Because I suck. :)
Most of the reason I'm doing it is because I can't afford to sponsor anyone else doing it, so I'm perfectly happy for people not to. Just be around LJ on the day and help keep me awake with comments, OK?
I have ADHD like something fierce (like, really. I am currently boycotting my medication because it makes my life more interesting.) so I can only imagine what would become of my mind.
