Just had to reply because I love the Carmina Burana! I got to perform it my sophomore year of college, and I loved every minute of rehearsing it. :^D

It is a fantastic piece of music - I also enjoy the implicit irony. Most people who don't think about it or read the words, who just hear it as background music for films or ads, probably think it's church music because, well, choirs and Latin. But when you read a bit you find that it's actually a bunch of coarse medieval drinking songs - the punk rock of its day, even.

And the Ray Manzarek version is especially good. He rocked it up without losing any of its essence - he did such a good job.
