It's awesome. Also, the ball is the exact right colour for my LJ, did you do that on purpose or was I just lucky?

Ooooh Pippin too!

that was lucky, it's the only colour in my LJ apart from black and white. Perfect!

Just had to reply because I love the Carmina Burana! I got to perform it my sophomore year of college, and I loved every minute of rehearsing it. :^D

It is a fantastic piece of music - I also enjoy the implicit irony. Most people who don't think about it or read the words, who just hear it as background music for films or ads, probably think it's church music because, well, choirs and Latin. But when you read a bit you find that it's actually a bunch of coarse medieval drinking songs - the punk rock of its day, even.

And the Ray Manzarek version is especially good. He rocked it up without losing any of its essence - he did such a good job.

Current music: Ray Manzarek - Blanziflor Et Helena (Carmina Burana)

I spy a fellow Doors fan....

From way back - although there's a lot of their music I can't play now. They're one of the bands that tend to set Squish off howling and the neigbours complain if there's too much of that. Irritating dog.
