Get me in a fight, I like dirty tricks

Evil Tugger - 1 Evil Tugger - 2
Evil Tugger - 3 Evil Tugger - 4

...this is why I originally got into the habit of leaving the harness on him all day, because he'd try and pull this every time I put it on him. It's only the occasional moment these days.

You may be thinking "why was she standing there snapping pictures instead of making him stop that?" - I'll tell you: because when he's having one of his Little Moments, the quickest way to make him stop is to withdraw all attention. The camera happened to be close to hand so I gave it my attention instead. Worked, too. Went quiet and stood still to be harnessed after four quick flashes...

The first thought that came to my mind was...Oh No! He's ripping apart his new harness.

Maybe you should threaten him by telling him you'll turn him into a doggie skin rug...lol

I tell Julius I'll turn him into a kitty toss pillow all the time...wait a second...he STILL won't listen...I don't think he believes me...:D

Sadly, Crow really likes to do similar things. He loves to grab EVERYTHING and run around with it hoping that people will play chase. He also tends to grab the leash and hold it ('walking himself') when he's over excited.

This is the retriever in him though, because he completely stops it if he's either getting enough exercise (this was on our trip), or told to drop and offered a stick to carry around. He dances when he's got a stick. Crazy retrieving dog. :)

I love Spike and his evil buggerness. :)

"because when he's having one of his Little Moments, the quickest way to make him stop is to withdraw all attention."

That also works with boyfriends. Just FYI. :)

This reminds me of when Miss Supreme Ruler sharpen her claws on everything she's not supposed to sharpen them on, when she deliberately pushes things off the table while looking straight at me to watch my reaction or when she walks around the flat and opens every door or cupboard she can, just because. And a few other ones. And then add Ronja doing her attention act. Sometimes I just want to yell at them that they are evil minions in collusion with the devil... or at least with the Klingons.

Right now they're both gone. I have 4 weeks of summer holidays from the attention hoggers... Ah the silence... :D
