...this is why I originally got into the habit of leaving the harness on him all day, because he'd try and pull this every time I put it on him. It's only the occasional moment these days.
You may be thinking "why was she standing there snapping pictures instead of making him stop that?" - I'll tell you: because when he's having one of his Little Moments, the quickest way to make him stop is to withdraw all attention. The camera happened to be close to hand so I gave it my attention instead. Worked, too. Went quiet and stood still to be harnessed after four quick flashes...

This is the retriever in him though, because he completely stops it if he's either getting enough exercise (this was on our trip), or told to drop and offered a stick to carry around. He dances when he's got a stick. Crazy retrieving dog. :)

Spike is a great deal better if he's getting enough exercise, and he really hasn't been for a while now. *kicks self*
That said, he's still pretty evil whatever I do. I love him for it too...
