I want your horror, I want your design

I appear to have hybridised Millionaire's Shortbread and peach crumble.

Why? BECAUSE I CAN. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

ETA: I have named it Bad Romance Pudding. It's less cohesive than I thought I wanted it, but it's very good. The oats and fruit counteract the tendency to stodginess and the strong near-bitter of the cocoa adds a nice twist. Needs to be served warm with custard, IMO.

I'll tell you what I did though, in case I forget and want to do it again. I made up a batch of crumble mixture (three ...um, I use washed-out tuna cans for measuring. Three cans flour, one can porridge oats, one and a half of sugar and a dollop of butter. Mix together with fingers till it's all mixed together and crumbly.)

one thin layer of crumblemix on the bottom of the pan. then I sprinkled a layer of cocoa powder over it because I wanted chocolatiness. Then I added a layer of drained chopped canned peaches and mandarin oranges. Then I drizzled a small can of condensed milk over that to give it a layer of caramelliness.

then one more light sprinkle of cocoa, then the rest of the crumblemix. It OUGHT to come out like a kind of very fruity layered cobblercrumblecake with chocolate and toffee veins. I hope.
