I WILL. I'm just concerned with clearing the massive piles of to-be-recycled cardboard, cans and clutter that I keep not getting round to lugging downstairs, the two functional computer monitors that I can't throw out ('cause they WORK, I can just only use one at a time) the horrid mankiness of my futon and everything in the living room that can be sat on, the 1379749136 old bones that Squish probably doesn't need ALL of (only i keep thinking one day I'll get hold of tools and do bonecarving with them so I hate to sling them), and finding sheets and a clean duvet for the cat-room bed (because there is a duvet but it's been sitting in the cat-accessible cupboard all this time and... well, my cats don't have pee issues and you're not allergic to their hair, are you? It should be all right with a clean cover on it...)

I have a manky futon, too! It smells of dog! One of them threw up on it this week, even. Also, Tink has 1379749136 old bones and likes to drop them in my path in the dark. And I am totally not allergic to cat hair at all!

I will get there on SATURDAY 23 MAY. Sometime. My flight gets in at 0700 but then I have to clear customs, find my way to Wellington station, and then get on a train for Bournemouth. GIVE ME YOUR PHONE NUMBER so I can at some point during this process call you, hopefully, if I can find either A) a pay phone or B) a cheap cell phone &pre-paid SIM. I am actually hoping for the latter, and is there a shop in Bournemouth where I could pick such a thing up if I haven't found one before then?

there are lots of shops in Waterloo Station itself where you could get such a thing, so don't fret.

I've been feeling so crap this week with the headaches; I was actually starting to worry that the seond headbonk Spike gave me knocked something loose in my brain. But then I started getting stomach symptoms too and then i started feeling better, so I decided it was just a bug. And I've been hoovering. I just need to tidy a little bit and we're set. WOOO HOOO!

RIGHT. WATERLOO. I intend to write all these things down and carry them around with me so that I am not all "Wellington? Waterloo? Paddington? OMG TOO MANY TRAIN STATIONS AIE! AIE!" I expect by the time I get to you I will be something of a nervous wreck *anyway* but I bet Squish will be totally happy to hlep me relax by letting me love him up.

Also if that is the phone # on dog tags then you should DEFINITELY either pay it up or get new tags with your home number, in case the unthinkable should happen.

That reminds me, I need to buy dog cookies before I come so I can bribe your hounds. :D

They do not need bribery. They are both uncritically adoring of everybody two-legged, and Cassie Cat feels the same. Naamah Cat ...well, you'll be lucky if you even get to see her, so maybe rolling in catnip would be a good move.

Well, I tend to bribe pets whether or not they actually NEED bribing, just on general principles. I even bribe my own pets, who clearly do not need bribing.

I wonder if I can still fine aerosolized catnip spray. I know I can find cheesey biscuits made from organic people-grade ingredients. Yes, I have tried them, they are actually pretty tasty. ;)

that reminds me, may I beg you not to forget melatonin? I'm down to around 15 tablets and it's prescription-only over here. It is perfectly legal to bring with you, though.

aerosol catnip spray sounds AWESOME. between that and cheesebiscuits we will have to be vigilant in case of Squish and Cassie smuggling themselves back to Virginia in your handluggage.

I don't know if I can find the catnip spray anymore, I will have to take a look this weekend while out shopping (I have this weekend and next to shop OMG). Squish and Cassie may come visit whenever they like! Squishy would just have to promise to sing a lot for my mildly microphthalmic half-blind rubber puppy who INSISTS ON BONKING HER HEAD even though I am all "STOP BONKING YOUR HEAD YOU WILL DETACH YOUR REMAINING RETINA AND GO BLIND". I may have to get her a helmet.

I have NO IDEA. The idea is that if your neighbours make your life hell you can report them and they won't necessarily know who did it. i called them up once about piss in the hallway, but that was more as insurance in case someone wanted to blame my dogs. (in fact it was GSD puppy downstairs during the early housetraining stages; I didn't mind that so much but the guy would just LEAVE IT THERE FOR HOURS.)

Squish is never, ever ever allowed to eat hardboiled eggs again unless i have a gas mask handy, but that wasn't allergic, just really, really unpleasant.

...i have lots of food suitable for toothless people XD
