Everything he lacks, well, he makes up in denial

In non-Spike-weird-health-related news, there is a pool of vomit on the floor in the hallway in front of drunk!Barry's flat. Shiny Headed Michael says that Barry's worst fear is being moved to an old people's home where he will have to stop chugging down his weight in cheap beer and cheaper cider every day lose his independence.

I'm all for independence in principle, but srsly, IMNSHO, your right to independent living stops where my right to a home free of your bodily fluids starts. Shinyhead had better have that cleaned up before I have to walk down the hallway again.

isn't it interesting how people who behave that way always fear having to live by someone else's (why can I not spell this correctly? I know I took a pain killer for brain ache...but I can not get that to work correctly...sorry!) rules - yet they can not see that they have already given up their independence because of life style choices they make.
My father in law was like this - he was so nasty about following the basic rules of our home that it finally got him kicked out (after 5 years...but that's only cause he was my beloved's dad) He moved to a place where he had MORE rules and less freedom (due to having to PAY BILLS among other things) and couldn't see that he did it to himself because he behaved like an assmunch while he lived with us

Can't blame ya for being a bit cranky on the yakk in the middle of the hallway - I'm thinking I'd be squeegeeing (omg that's such a great word!! hehehe) it under their doorway
