It's more than they really need just to pee and poo (unless Squish has been scavenging again, then all bets are OFF) but it helps keep them from bouncing off the walls too much. I can't let them get too boisterous in the flat because of cranky downstairs neighbour and the concrete floor and me with no carpets. He's had words with me about it before now.
