![]() | My sphere is Soldier (Unity in Strength and Action), and my class is Rogue (Precise and Unhindered). I am a Dark Artist. If you were in the Republican Convention during Nixon's term of office, you would have been the one they sent to spy on and infiltrate Democratic Headquarters at Watergate. This isn't to say that you're a (wo)man of black operations or ill repute, but more to say that you have the efficiency and swift approach to carry out these tenuous, sometimes questionable, goals when most of your comrades might balk. |
Found while browsing random journals. The picture isn't working for me but it looked like fun all the same.
My slump is slowly dying, but I'm still having trouble thinking of anything interesting to post. Apologies...
Spike is still hors de combat, but yesterday I took him for a longish walk on the lead through the shopping centre and to the flat and back. He seems to approve of the flat, which is lucky - and now that he's shed hair and spilled water on the kitchen floor, I feel as though it's truly mine. I measured the windows - I really don't like curtains, but I'm going to need something for the bedroom window at the very least, for the days when I'm not feeling too exhibitionist... besides, there's a clear view from the bus stop. I plan on having blinds rather than curtains, and there will be no nets. Net curtains are an abomination. One of Mum's friends gave me a bagful of old ones (along with a lot of tea towels - something you can never have too many of) but I shall either dump them at a charity shop or use them for dog bedding.
I was going to go into B&Q to look for suitable blinds, but I don't like leaving the Captain tied up outside shops. He's so very handsome, friendly and charismatic that I worry about some poor misguided fool stealing him under the impression that they'd be getting a nice normal dog instead of a swaggering, overbearing fur-covered dictator with illusions of godhood...
I've been making an effort to eat a little more healthily and I've been remembering to do sit-ups and leg lifts every day, and it's having an effect. The belly is visibly shrinking, I can fit comfortably into the leather trousers I couldn't wear back in November, and I now find I've stopped wanting to eat fatty or sugary things very much. Yay me!!
