Trekkie Nerd Congratulations! You scored 90%! |
Congratulations - your designation as a Trekkie Nerd means that you are statistically more likely to be respected, adored, a BBS legend in your own lifetime and almost as much of a sexual fantasy figure as Seven. Still, if knowledge of temporal paradoxes, the repercussions of the Janeway effect and an intimate knowledge of Klingon history made big bucks, you'd be a millionaire. Ah, tis the sweet irony of life. |

Didn't actually read all that much of Worlds of DS9 before the wine knocked me out, but the Trill story's looking good so far. Very pleased to see Dr Vlu in it - you can never have enough Cardassians. I hope they don't kill her off.
Reading through last nights RAL posts, I rather regret going to bed so early. Shameless, DAK & Kitkat were all nicely on form, bless their dirty little hearts. DAK especially is a kindred spirit... I must PM her and see if she's on MSN or whatever.
The sun keeps busting out of the clouds and shining right in my face. Makes it damn hard to read the screen. Ah well, I think I can still afford blinds, thanks to my American aunties sending me some housewarming money... in the meantime I'm using the cardboard box the flat packed computer chair came in as a makeshift screen, balanced on the edge of the desk to keep the direct sunlight off the monitor. Never say I'm not resourceful!
About the blinds: current plan is to get plain fabric roller blinds (B&Q do relatively cheap ones, and they come in black) and stencil Cardassian-type graphics on them with fabric paint. What I'd really like to do is paint one blind as a starfield with a view of the wormhole opening on it - not quite sure my painting skills are up to doing a good job on that, though... it'd need to be very well done to work properly...
