Oh all right, I enjoyed myself and there's tinsel in my hair. I dunno about the Christmas spirit, but I'm into the Bailey's - it seems to be an acceptable substitute. Happy now?

I have presents! Enough B&Q vouchers to finish decorating the flat, a hard drive (which I don't actually have yet, but it has my name on it, yayy!) some cash (which is lucky, because I'd completely run out) a bottle of Bailey's, a Border Collie engagement calendar that sister T confiscated because I was squeeing over the puppies (and I forgot to get it back, damn), a pretty black ceramic oil burner with a bag of tea lights and a selection of scented oils (burning jasmine right now) and a reasonable amount of chocolate and other munchies (including a jar of ostrich pate from sister E - wtf??).

Spike and Squish each got a "Pedigree Jumbone" from my mother. They look like moulded plastic and I was too scared to look at the ingredient list. It's the sort of thing I'd never dream of feeding them myself - treats in this house are normally marrowbones or home made liver crunchies or chunks of cooked meat - but naturally enough, they went absolutely mental for those yummy synthetic proteins and artificial flavourings.

Happy dogs, happy families, happy me. Love you all.
