*sigh* I did not need my first, morning, quick zombie patrol to turn into an almost two-hour-long expedition after only one cup of coffee and one cigarette. I really didn't. It was, however, my own idiot fault for leaving my keys hanging on their hook and locking myself out. At least I've got a spare set over at Mum's - and she was at home and awake, so it could have gone a lot worse.

I suppose it's nice to know my flat door isn't susceptible to any of the ways I know how to get a locked door open, though this morning I think I might have been happier if it had been.

Met a lady I know on the way to Mum's. I don't know her name but she has a gorgeous little Border Collie bitch called Ella who is like Spike's miniature girltwin - similar looks, habits and temperament - and she's been having some behaviour trouble with her. Part of it is fear-aggression with other dogs since she was attacked by a loose Akita owned by an arsehole - part of it seems to be general puppy obnoxiousness (she's only nineteen months old). Neither of us had a pen so I suggested she come to LJ and look for me here - Ella's mum, if you read this leave a comment, you don't have to be registered (although I recommend it). There are a lot of great people here who've helped me a lot. I especially recommend [livejournal.com profile] dogtrainers and [livejournal.com profile] spo_prevention - but I also think we might be of use to each other as training buddies, since Ella gets on well with my lads and we could probably both do with another pair of hands. What do you think?
