Am back, all sober and alone and sooo tired, but very glad I went. Much fun. Was tied up, slapped a little and bitten so the evening wasn't without its little excitements. Also dragged in a new muncher from the crowd in the gay bar downstairs - very sweet trans girl who I got talking to while we were waiting for them to open the upstairs room for us. She asked who we were - I think she thought we were all bankers or something terribly straitlaced, because we tend to look pretty vanilla - and she was interested, so she came and got tied up and made friends.

Was a very giggly munch with - don't know her name, tall buxom lady with the pipe-smoking bald man - getting very silly and having mock cat-fights and hair-pulling with Amanda. Good to be social again. Not done it in too long.

...but we missed you two that weren't there.


OK, off to bed now. Need to have my kitchen completely empty by tomorrow noon so I'll need to be up early. Not good at mornings. G'night all.

There are three lovely young men ripping out my kitchen as I type!

Poor Spike is rather freaked out by the loud noise and is hiding under my chair and wedging his head between my knee and the keyboard. Makes typing awkward. He's not a fearful dog as a rule but loud noises make him unhappy - collies have particularly sensitive ears. Bred for hearing shepherd whistles on windy Scottish mountainsides at great distances.

There's some hope of the black tiles, but not much. I've price-checked and no way can I afford to buy actual tiles, so it'll be paint or nothing. We'll see.
