theres this lovely thing we can call the police here for, its called 'disturbing the public'. a phone call complaining about any loud noise after 10pm will bring the police.
i've made many phone calls myself, aaaand occasionally been present at parties where others called the cops on us for being too loud. the results have been anything from a warning to quiet down immediately, breaking up the party and sending everyone home, or arresting out of control people and leaving the rest of us to continue on so long as we're quieter.
