It's the first really cold day of the season and I am sitting at my desk wearing a hand-knitted black and maroon mobius snood.

I LOVE IT.

In other news, cats are obnoxious bitches. Cassie and Naamah staged a hostile takeover of Squish's bed while we were at the park. We came home to find them sitting squarely in the centre of the futon, all meatloafed up shoulder to shoulder, glaring out at at the world in general and poor Squish in particular with that "fuck you" expression cats have.

Cats: Fuck you.

Squish: OH NOES THEY BE STEALIN MA BED!

Cats: *smug* There's nothing in the rules says we can't.

Squish: GIMME MA BED. I KEEL JOO!

Cass: Oh no you don't. See rule one* subparagraph fourteen*.
Naamah: Yeah, PWNZ0RED, dogbreath. Suck it up.

Squish: BAWWWWW, IT'S NOT FAIRRRRR! I KEEL SPIKE INSTEAD!

Spike: MOMMY! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! IT'S NOT FAIRRRR!!!

Me: PACK THAT IN.

Squish: WOE! *settles down on floor with bone and longsuffering expression*

Spike: WOE! *settles down on my feet with worried expression*

Cats: W00T! *radiate smugness*

Dogs: WOE! *radiate emo*

Me: For fuck's sake. *idea*

Me: *goes to kitchen to make sandwich*

Cass: *teleports to kitchen ahead of me* I CAN HAZ CHEEZBURGER?

Naamah: *staying on dog bed* IT'S A TRAP!

Squish: I CAN HAZ FUTON! *sits on Naamah who has lost her backup*

Naamah: THEY BE STEALIN MA DOG BED! *huffs and relocates to cat bed*
