Woken early by hysterical hounds from a fevered, restless and too-short sleep... Am not looking forward to this Sainsbury's lark, but since I've told everyone I'm going, I am obliged not to chicken out of it. Which is precisely why I made a point of telling everyone about it, of course... I am the laziest slob in the 'verse but I haven't lived this long without learning a few methods for outwitting myself...
They might not want me, of course. I'm not sure whether that's a depressing thought or a consoling one - I haven't had an actual paying job for a very long time and frankly, it's a scary prospect.
Max Squish is still hysterical - he's dragged one of the pillows off my bed and is chasing it round the room yapping at it occasionally. Excuse me while I go take it away from him...
My Lordreapie is the newest Mod at TBBS, but I, his High Priestess, am to be the newest mod at the much cooler Terran. Our plans for cake-based world domination are baking nicely, Lord...
Edited to add: Less than thirty seconds after finishing this entry, the radio plays Blue Oyster Cult's Don't Fear The Reaper - synchronicity like that has to mean the Universe is on your side...
