Oh, come on, no one actually fell for that, did they??? But it is April 1st, I had to do something...
Actually I'm just writing this entry to tell you to look at my journal page.

I think I'm starting to feel better. Herbie's back at Terran, Hunt's back on MSN, and I actually went out and did something other than dogwalking yesterday... went to a big warehouse-type pet store that needs two bus rides to get to. Stocked up on soft rubber balls for Spike (he can't use tennis balls, he wears his teeth out on the abrasive covering) and frozen raw mince - I also bought Squish a new collar, but I got it too large - going back today or tomorrow to swap it for a smaller one and then I'll take pics. I had a hard time choosing - they had camouflage-print webbing collars, and some marvellous psychedelic yellow and purple striped ones - but in the end I was seduced by the black leather one with studs. So much so, in fact, that I may well buy myself one as well... :D
And Squishy deserves a big macho collar, because he's finally started cocking his leg instead of squatting like a little girl. And he was a Very Good Dog yesterday, as well. I had a Stupid Pet Owner moment - I clipped his lead to the split-ring on his tag instead of the D-ring on his collar without noticing, and we were halfway to Mum's, walking along a busy road, when it gave way and with one bound, Squish was free. I nearly crapped myself, because his recall has been almost non-existent since we moved and there was traffic everywhere - but he took twenty seconds to explore the front yard of the church we were walking past and then came to hand like a pro, bless his little heart. Much praise and love!
