Fuck me, such a thunderstorm outside! It goes perfectly with the soundtrack, too. I do love a good storm, though I can't say I'm in the mood for going out in it today - enough just to watch it through the windows.
Icons. I have a small request - is there anyone reading this skilled enough, kind enough and with enough time on their hands to take my default icon and animate her a little so that she winks and/or blinks occasionally? I mean very occasionally - infrequently enough that people seeing her would be left wondering if she really had. Wuz? 'Balls? Anyone?

Thank you! I'm rather attached to my bum... I'm a little careful about using it too much, though, because you don't always know if people will appreciate a naked arse in their journals. I have whipped it out for shock value once or twice to great effect - in real life as well, now that I come to think of it. *snerk*
Odo - Well, it's really all about the tribbles. The tribbles, through some strange mental alchemy, have come to symbolise the weird poly moments in my life. The different characters are intended to be an oblique, cryptic indication of how polyness is making me feel at any given moment. I like expressing myself indirectly, it amuses me.

I use the dog icons a lot when I post at the various dog and pet communities I'm in - not so much in my own and individual friends' journals. Though I ought to try and remember to use them for dog-related posts.

The "Poly" icon cracks me up, but I've gotta go with "What you Leave Behind". It's adorable, had a bit of a sentimental feel, and earns bonus points 'cuz it has BOTH of your knuckleheads in it.

You're welcome, hon! Just recently started animating mine that way...it's amazing how 3 extra little frames can bring a character to life.

2 - Quark with a tribble on his head, because that's always funny
3 - Odo with a tribble. When I rule the world, only I will have Odo icons.
My default (favorite) icon is of Odo being transported to the Wadi ship in 'Move Along Home'. It was a cheesy episode, but I loved the scene, when Odo yells at Primmin about Starfleet regulations before stepping up to the transporter.
Plus, it's just such a beautiful picture. The guys at TrekPulse 'capped it just right.

DS9 is like sex or pizza - even bad DS9 is still pretty good. My least favourite has to be If Wishes Were Horses, but if you stand that next to Up The Long Ladder or Fair Haven it looks one hell of a lot better all of a sudden.

Odo is a seriously good character. I love him best when he's snarky... My favourite character's always been Gul Dukat though. Couldn't ever get enough of him.
