From Silver Town, a folk song about football hooligans. Fucking brilliant.
4. The Men They Couldn't Hang: Company Town
Also from Silver Town. I don't suppose I really need to repeat the "brilliant" comment.
5. The Men They Couldn't Hang: Lobotomy Gets 'Em Home
Silver Town, again, about Frances Farmer.
6. The Men They Couldn't Hang: Shirt Of Blue. A nostalgic little thing, about the miners' strike, sort of. I think.
7. A live, country-and-westerned-up version of I Wanna Be Sedated by John Hiatt. Amazing. And here you were thinking I wasn't listening to anyone but TMTCH. I am certainly listening to them a lot.
8 and 9: Because I never know when to stop when it comes to music: How Bad's The Coffee and Buffalo River Home by John Hiatt.
10: Because I might as well finish on a nice round number, The Standells: Dirty Water. Love that dirty water!

1. The Seer's Tower-Sufjan Stevens (my sis turned me on to this artist--plays most of his own instruments, has a ballad about John Wayne Gacy Jr on his last album and did his last tour with himself and band dressed as cheerleaders....they would break out into sponaneous cheers between songs, sis says...wish I'd known about him then....I would've gone!!!)
2. King of the Mountain-Kate Bush (newest Kate Bush single--references to Elvis and Citizen Kane....I really like this song!)
3. Bloodsport-Sneaker Pimps (Very cynical view of "love"....I like it ALOT!!!!
4. Born Too Slow-The Crystal Method (Love The Crystal Method! They make great soundtracks for the movies I make in my mind and this is the best song of the bunch (with Name of the Game running close second)
5. Right Where it Belongs-NIN (last song that made me cry....very, very moving for me!)
6. Precious-Depeche Mode (LOVE DM, LOVE this new single)
7. Lillian-Depeche Mode (another off their new album....fun spiteful little song!)
