Official diagnosis - tennis elbow. Prescribed a stronger anti-inflammatory than I can get OTC and am getting a special splint for it which I'll have to go pick up from the hospital in due course.

The good news: I can expect it to recover.

The bad: not for several more weeks, most likely.

so very very tired of not being able to do anything. also, dogs are going nuts. Right now they're chasing each other from their couch to my couch and back. Spike can actually do it one big leap.

And, on a completely unrelated note, why am I so insanely horny? it's not like I've been deprived or anything. I'm walking round throbbing and twitching and panting. I was even eyeing my doctor (who's married with kids and whom I don't even fancy, though he has nice eyes) and spinning absurd fantasies about being bent over his desk.

Damn it, I need to be ridden hard and put away wet...

...and the naked sauna is out for the time being due to a rampant case of athlete's foot. I probably caught it there in the first place. Condoms are one thing (and I wouldn't consider going there without them) but I'm damned if I'm going there with one of those rubber socks on my foot as well.

Did I mention that my right arm is useless? This is going to be a looong week.

It's much better, down to just a small somewhat discolored lump. Sadly tho I will still likely have to go to hospital & be put under for general surgery at some point to remove it.
And everyone else being barefoot's the issue. The bits of fungus breed in the moisture on the FLOORS and you pick up a little of it & then put on your shoes with your feet still damp & it just breeds away.
One day I must tell you the story about the time I got the effective equivalent in my GROIN.

yep, much like how Athelete's Foot stays on your feet & doesn't spread up your legs.
Some species of lice are the same way...head lice stay on your head, crabs on your groin, etc.
