...just finished Shards Of Honour by Lois McMaster Bujold. This was an author much recommended to me by all sorts of people I have high opinions of, so I was expecting it to be good stuff.
I was not, however, expecting to have my mind blown to an extent that I haven't experienced since... I don't know, first discovering Ursula LeGuin, perhaps.

The first one was last July as a way of celebrating their silver wedding anniversary, and everyone had so much fun they decided to do it more often.
