Still being lazy, as I was still feeling a little rough yesterday - I've felt fine today, as it happens, but I don't need much excuse to be lazy. Anyway, it's Sunday...

Out to dinner with Mum, sisters & various others last night celebrating Mother's Day at an Italian place in Wimborne last night - the most stellar mussels, pasta, carpaccio and asparagus... one of those rowdy, cheerful family affairs with everyone being very loud and eating off each other's plates and fondling the staff. I don't feel like part of it the way I once did, though things are improving, but it's still fun to watch. And I ate way, way too much. And drank a fair bit. Which explains a lot about why I'm feeling so cheerfully lethargic today... hardly even been online. I found a stack of dirt cheap (and shockingly badly printed) Children's Classics in a charity shop last Monday, and I've been steadily working through them - The Water Babies, The Secret Garden, A Little Princess, Peter Pan, Call of the Wild, White Fang (both big influences in my early youth - anyone surprised to hear that?), Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, What Katy Did and (best of all) The Jungle Book...

Photobucket are doing a thing where you can link your account directly to your LJ - I tested it out with that devil smiley above, and I read a photographic meme over at [livejournal.com profile] mencc1701's that'll be a lot easier using the feature. Shall do that in a separate entry later. Going back to "Little Women" now...
