Cassie worried me a bit by not eating much yesterday, but it turns out she was objecting to my mixing milky kitten glop with her meat. I was warned she didn't like milky things but I figured she'd be needing it badly enough not to mind. Once I replaced it with a glop-free mixture of ground chicken backs and ground beef with heart she snarfed it down. It's the first sign of anything approaching food-pickiness she's shown so far, bless her.
There's more stuff I want to write - Mum, family, hospital, yada yada but I'll leave this entry for the kittens. Mum's looking better though.

I'm waiting to see how Mum does. If she recovers properly - well, Maisie would probably like to have a companion and I know Mum won't be able to resist once she sees them in the flesh.
If I can't keep her in the family I'd love to keep her on my f-list. Glasgow might be tricky though.

What about the time she ate half a plate of food - with two different types on each half?

That happened to my sister when we were kids...she went and named the puppies, and my father put his foot down that we could NOT keep them...
so she went and inspected people before she would let any of hem go...then a couple weeks after giving them up, she went back to them and inspected again...people were a bit irritated with her...lol :D :D
They're sooo cute, I just want to cuddle a couple...especially Shona, who looks like my Cuddles Calico.

Any that don't go to family or trusted friends get rehomed by Cats Protection - they're very thorough with the home checks and vetting. I can live with that.

Now that I've been at it a week it's become less exhausting, thank the gods. The first few days I was in a bit of a collapsey state but I'm getting into a routine with it now. It helps that Mum is more like herself and I'm not so worried. Nothing more energy-draining than stress.
