I realised I was starting to look like a serial adder, so I have done a friends cut.

If I have cut you, it's ONLY because you haven't updated in months or years and I'm 99% sure you aren't reading this. It's not because I don't like you or anything. If any of you are reading-not-posting and don't want to be cut, just say so.

I wouldn't cut you! This was just about people who never post any more - I started to feel like I was just keeping them on my list to make myself look more popular, and I didn't like that feeling.

the trouble with visiting is, I don't have anyone to look after the dogs while I'm gone and even if I could afford a train (no animals allowed on coaches) can you imagine Spike cooped up in a train for hours? we'd kill each other...

Mum was the only dogsitter I had and I don't know when she'll be able to do it again - she's going to be in hospital at least another fortnight and she'll be too weak to have the dogs for a bit longer than that yet.

There were just a whole bunch of people who haven't updated in so long that they've just become names on my userinfo - it seemed pointless to keep them there when they clearly never use Livejournal any more.

I haven't even cut all of those - I still have Frontline on there although he's not posted in two years, for example, and Herbie from Terran although we go months at a time between conversations, because I love him. Pure sentimentality on my part.
