They can walk now instead of floor-swimming, and Callette and Shona have been introduced to Spike. They didn't care - all the kittens have been smelling the dogs on me all their lives so Spike was just part of the furniture, but he nearly burst!

I didn't take pictures of the introduction, but I will when it's all a bit less new and scary for me. Spike was on his best behaviour, holding his breath, not moving a muscle though his whiskers and the tips of his ears were vibrating with pent-up excitement - but when I took them for a walk right afterwards he gave me the very best full-on rollercoaster shark-fishing barking steer-roping alligator-wrestling Spike experience in his power. Aww!

Nope, no advocaat. But two bottles of creme de menthe. Ugh! I hate creme de menthe, and there's two fucking bottles of it! And then there's my dad and his amaretto liqueur that tastes better coming up than it does going down . . . and whenever I want to buy anything I my mom says we have enough booze already, and my favorite wine has just turned to vinegar because I can't drink the blasted stuff without enduring a temperance-style lecture and being told that I have it too often (once every week or two) and I have to either stay out in the living room or invite my sisters into my room because "never drink alone, Kyra!" and my sisters are not 21 yet and jealous, and my Bacardi silver stuff is disappearing faster than I drink it, compliments of my dad . . . nevermind. Ranty. It's too hot here, too; I stole a fan from Mom in addition to my little one, but my room is crammed with the furniture I bought for my dorm as well as the stuff it normally has so there's not any good air flow, and Tetrapod bit me and Purkin's shed his collar too ("But Piper did it!") and my brain is completely fried.

Never mind.

Really? I don't LIKE eggnog, but I read about Aadvocate in a Brit-printed encyclopedia on liquors & liqueurs. I wanted to try it just 'cause you can't get it here.
