- what are your three favourite books, and why?

At the moment: Temporary Agency and Unquenchable Fire by Rachel Pollack. Because they're just so... so wow. The other one would be Ursula LeGuin's Always Coming Home, for much the same reason.


- if when they were to make a sequel to Serenity, if they asked you to write the plot, what would it be?

It would be a. lame, and b. way past any useful deadline.


- how many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

As many as feel so inclined.

An Equal Music by Vikram Seth, because it's the most beautiful book I've ever read. I just finished The Kite Runner, which was traumatic but great, and I'm also rather fond of Swimming the Channel, by Sally Friedman, because it made me understand loss.

Serenity - not seen it sadly so don't know. Still watching my way through Firefly.

Angels - well, as inchoate beings, an infinity of angels can dance on the head of a pin.
