Garlic flavoured pitta bread with sandwish spread, ham and Edam cheese.

The corner of my lip is split, and it hurts. The annoying thing about it is it's very hard not to keep splitting it every time I open my mouth.

Time to put more coffee on, I think...

I originally did it yawning at Spike, but that was ages ago now. Trouble is, the healed place was less flexible than the rest of the lip, so the more it happens the more it happens.

if you see what I mean...

if you have some, try a tiny bit of vaseline on the lip...it won't sting, and not only will it make it more flexible, but might help heal it, too.

In the Autumn, when I was grooming horses, my hands would get so chapped and split so badly, that I would coat them with vaseline and put a rubber glove over the hands...overnight, the splits had started to heal, and I found it helped immensly...

if it works for split and bleeding hands, it ought to work for a split lip, too.

Yeah, something thick on the lip like Vaseline or Burt's Bee's salve

chapstick's not thick enough for sleepy time
you need something in one of the really thick creams or salves
Blistex would work too
The stick stuff isn't gonna do it

well, I'll see what I can get at One Stop. I'm too drained from fridgewrestling to go proper shopping tonight.
