I'm gonna be boring and do a meme, just while I get my breath back.
1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
Pretty sure not, although my given name (which i hate and never use) means "heaven".
2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
If I'd ever had children, I would have named a daughter Griselda. Partly because of The Cuckoo Clock which was a favourite book as a child, partly because it's just such a damn cool name.
3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
My parents told me if they'd ever had a boy they'd have named him Cameron. *wince*
4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
What do you mean "if I could"? I could and did. I picked Elizabeth because it's classic, timeless, English, and the short form of it that I use has that particular quality of undecorated stark elegance that I'm particularly fond of.
5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?
Not with my first name, but my surname is mangled with regularity. I have a thing about not putting it on the Internet anywhere, but I won't be telling you much if I tell you that the most creative misspelling of it I ever saw was "Rovolaiu". The initial letter was the only one they got right...

How much does Squish weigh?
If there were no more collies in the universe, other than sobbing hysterically, what other dogs would you want to own and why?
Do you like Swedish meatballs as an actual foodstuff for you?
Will you watch the sun rise this morning?
When do you stop doing this, your time? (Like, when is this over in Liz time?)
Do you live in or near 'Kent'? Because you sound just like the HR person at work who is from Kent, but I can't remember if Kent is an area of Britian or a city itself, and the Brit in the family is upstairs.
Are you a morning person or a night person?
Are you for or against naps on a regular basis?
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick?
Okay, I'm done for now, I'll think up more in a bit.

it's also a fairly common pet name for cats in French. It's like the French equivalent of "Tibbles" or something. it's a perfectly fine name for a cat but I loathe it being used on me.
