Dog Walk With Me

This is between one-third and one-half of an average everyday walk round the block for the dogs to pee and stuff.

I can't help noticing my shadow's uncanny resemblance to Queen Victoria.

Can't see the video on this computer, but the idea of a shadow that looks like Queen Victoria... ooo!

Spike needs more excercise, clearly. *grin* Dude. I thought he was gonna make it up that -- was it a tree or a fence?. Anyway I thought he was gonna make it.

You are right, your shadow is uncanny.

You have an unhealthy fascination with fecal matter. *grimace* Ick. But I'm glad to see dogs down there do it the same way dogs up here do -- right down to the macho scuff-scuff. But I bet Dragon can scuff dirt further! *one-ups your dog, cause Dragon can't climb trees*

Next time you should give a tour! We can hear you, you know? You should be all like -- "And here we have the...." "And this is the site of the Great Whatever of '05 when.... " "And this is the home of the famous..." (what was it? Chester?) It was fun to watch, but all I saw was sidewalk, heh.

....and crazy dogs.

You know -- you ought to get a pulling harness for Spike and one of those scooter things. He'd probably kill you if you wore inline skates, but one of those scooter things has brakes and stuff. Much safer. And Spike would have to work so much HARDER to get where he wanted to go, and you could do it faster! And maybe even twice!

....yeah, just got up, can you tell? *grin*

...............and I think I just recognised the quote on your icon. *facepalm* If it isn't from Riddick, it sounds damned close.

Yes, he does need a lot more exercise; but Squish is problematic. He can't be left home alone (he's all right left with Spike but he gets very noisy and destructive on his own - and I live in an apartment block) and he's decidedly iffy off-leash - I can, now, let him off for short spells while his attention is on the ball but it's always dicey. And I can't let them off together - Squish is scared to play ball with Spike loose and if I can't hold his attention with ball he's gone - meatballs won't hold him.

It was easy when I lived at Mum's; it's been a perennial problem since I moved here. What I'm doing is taking them to the park and giving each one short spells off-leash while the other's tied to a tree - even that's risky with Squish, though. If he sees something he needs to chase while he's tied to something he breaks stuff.

Also, Spike could have got over that fence easy if I hadn't been holding the leash!

I watched it again and held it one place and was actually able to see what I thought was a squirrel on the wall that Spike was barking at. :D
