You know you've spent far too much time obsessively reading [livejournal.com profile] hogwarts_live character journal back entries when you catch yourself mentally sorting your dogs into Hogwarts houses.

(I'm now up to February 2005, thanks to being more than usually bored and loose-endy with no C-drive, and therefore no uploading, downloading or IM. That's also why I've made so many entries today. Sorry.)

(This posted in the wrong place, apologies if you receive it twice)

Well, Spike is a big obvious Gryffindor - in fact he's pretty much James Potter. Squish I had to think about for a moment, but he turns out to be a Slytherin. A cute adorable one, admittedly, but he's very clever about using cute to his own advantage - and, while Spike will do things to please me or out of a sense of duty or because he likes showing off, Squish never does anything unless there's something in it for him.

I can't decide about the cats. I'm not sure cats can be sorted, and four of them aren't really old enough anyway.

I've found four different sorting hats online and each and every one has put me in Hufflepuff. Must be the badger-weasel-ferret connection...

Yayy badgers!!!

I've taken at least two tests and I always come up Ravenclaw. I used to have a Ravenclaw icon, but I deleted it to make room for yet another dog icon...

Well, I'm a Gryffindor...yay me...:D

I think Giddy would be a Hufflepuff...she just keeps grinding on; and Julius gets into so much trouble and kind of bubbles over with enthusiasm, that I think he'd be a Gryffindor, too

The one that died was 40gb - drive D is 20. It only needs to be big enough to hold Windows, I suppose, but bigger is better and all that. (When it comes to hardware, at least)

Okay - I was hoping we would have something here that we could give you (we have a computer graveyard) but we don't have anything near as big. It was a good throught, at least.

Ooh... are there any RAM chips in the graveyard?

We have all sorts (no, not the candy), Kevin said he will be contacting you for particulars later. We are off to IKEA (UGH) now and he'll write to you via email later today or tomorrow. However, the biggest one he has is 128M. Is that large enough? He's a pack rat! ;-)

oooh... at the moment I have two in there, one 128 and one 256; however, there are three slots (I think), so it's possible.

I'd have to talk to my technical support (that would be [livejournal.com profile] topbit to know for sure though.

thank you :)

The Hogwarts house I keep getting is Gryffindor
