ever have one of those nights where every song that comes up on the shuffle is one that makes you cry?

or is it just me?

most of the time I'm OK. it's amazing what a big hole you can have at the centre of your being and still function, still even be joyful. Life wants to live. Life snaps you back to life like a rubber band. Just sometimes... it really fucking hurts.

I am firmly convinced that there is a spirit behind "randomly" programmed music that sends us what we need to hear at any given moment. This spirit also lives at radio stations and sends us an "Our Song" when we are in the middle of a lover's spat.

Some days, you just need to cry. I did.

Not 'cry cry', but Saturday night, WinAmp decided to seriously play on my emotions...

Oh, and I'm convinced that there is in fact a Spirit of Shuffle, that knows what we need, or what will seriously piss us off at any given point.

Yeah, I know. Sometimes you trip and fall right into that black hole.

Hope the dogs give you extra love; I'm sure they know when you need it.

hell yes.
it's amazing what kind of wringer life can put you through and yet you still anticipate tomorrow. it's a beautiful world out there, and thank goodness for that.

Aye. I had one of those, no several of those, last week. Do not like it.

Well I hope you're feeling better soon, I had some sort of hawk or falcon fly directly over me & I got pics of it close up & need you to tell me what the heck it was when I post it.

Yep, I actually had one of those music nights last night. I was down and Pandora radio kept playing Morrissey and The Smiths. I've got them as "OK to play", but yesterday it was every 2nd song.

Perhaps it is supposed to be cathartic, but sometimes it's just overload.

*Big Hugs* and hope the sun shines in your life soon.

*big big hugs*

Don't really know what to say except that I'm sorry you have to go through this, but am glad that rubber band is there ...
