It's high time I got away from here from a bit. I'm getting stale and depressed. I'm thinking, not this upcoming weekend but maybe the one after, I can do a London trip. Visit my ex-cats and then go on and do some... other stuff that I'm not willing to post in a public entry, since I now have blood relations reading this journal. That's if my mother's not too up to her neck in grandmotherness to look after her granddogs for the day, anyway; always a dicey proposition.

Also, I could really do with a pirate icon. Why don't I have one? A hundred fucking icons and there wasn't one I liked for this entry. Feh.

flonaldinho has quite a nice Jack Sparrow icon, no idea where he gacked it from...
Just realised I've not got a pirate icon either, how the hell did that happen?

The trouble with Jack Sparrow is that wearing him on your icon doesn't so much identify you as a pirate as a fan of the POTC movies. And I did love the movies (and especially Jack Sparrow, bless him), but my pirate thing is older, longer, wider and deeper than that. So I need something more generic. Must work on this.

And yeah, so should you have one.

I know what you mean. I, personally, would feel uncomfortable using a Disney related icon in general, unless is was terribly obscene...but that's an entirely different story.
