Holy wow! I'm a third of the way through this already! No, wait... six hours. That's a quarter, not a third. I always was numerically-challenged. Still, it's an achievement, no?

Who remembers last year when I had a houseful of kittens? Have a look at this entry and this one if you want reminding of the little balls of fuzzycute.

Paisley now owns [livejournal.com profile] vatoengland and [livejournal.com profile] kevinrtaylor and she's enormously happy and well looked after.

Saffron and The Captain Formerly Known As Hamish live with my sister in London, and are spoiled absolutely rotten.

And Naamah Kadoatie Noisemaker-Dribblecat, aka "The Flying Calico" is still here, making my life interesting. I love her really.

Cats are nothing if not interesting.

I missed most of today (been to a local agricultural show, took lots of pictures), but as it's a Saturday I think I can manage a late night.

I mostly find them annoying, especially Noisy Flying Dribblecat, but I have to admit they're very decorative creatures.

Oooh, agricultural show pics, yay!

Were there really only four kittens? For some reason, I remember there being more than that.

I had five cats in total, but the fifth was their mother... they certainly felt like more, especially when they all had simultaneous zoomies.

I think they looked like more due to the extra cute factor.

Simultaneous zoomies. LOL.

(Queen of Peacocks now? When did that happen? Congratulations!)

Someone who wasn't Saigh noticed XD

Yes. I renamed myself, for reasons impossible to explain to anyone who doesn't live in my brain or hers.

Thank you XD

Three of them have also grown into greedy catbeasts who need their diets watched or else they get enormous; my horrid Naamah was the only one that didn't inherit that gene. She eats twice as much as Cassie, but if you got her wey she'd disappear. Teeny cat.

I have a theory that she might have had a different father. She's much more Siamesey than any of the others, in looks, shape attitude and lack of volume control.

Naamah is SO Siamese looking. Sheesh. Is she vocal at all? Paisley is VERY vocal. She is always chattering to herself, or to us.

Naamah: Mau! MAU!! MAUU!!! MAUUUUU!!!

She doesn't chatter; she only has two volumes: asleep or turned up to eleven.

Paisley really is a missing link between our two who are so different - her face and eyes are weirdly halfway between Captain's and Saffron's. She is so pretty! And the expression in the first pic is pure Saffron.

I love Paisley so much. She is the life of the party here and we adore her. She is one of the best things that has happened to all of us, and Arrietty likes her (begrudgingly, of course). Yes, her weight has to be watched. She's a large cat - the size of her neck and chest is very large. She's not overweight now, but she could easily be. She comes in at between 7 and 7.5 lbs and she is solid muscle.

yeah - the Captain weighed ten pounds when I took him to be neutered, and he wasn't especially overweight then, either, just HUGE. Saffron's a bit smaller but still a big solid cat. It's just Naamah that's small and tubular. She's still quite a bit smaller than Cassie, and Cass isn't a big cat either.
