Naamah's Mother

I've missed having a camera.

More than half done, yayy! The coffee is kicking in. If only the anti-inflammatories would too. Voiceposts saved my arse last year. I may die if i can't do them this year.

so true. i did not believe in calico syndrome till I had Naamah. I adore her but she's a friggin' maniac.

I've got an uncle and aunt who have many animals, and one of their cats is a torty too. Normally she's quite sweet and shy, but every so often she has a completely mad spell and runs around like a total loon.

Naamah is shy if anyone not-me is in the house; she's an utter flying loon the rest of the time. She likes to hurl herself onto my shoulder from across the room and she always wants to be petted. Trouble is, she always has all her claws out and she DROOLS. My damn dogs don't drool. It's not any less disgusting when it's a cat though.

We had a female ginger creature by the name of Biscuit - she was very dribbly in her old age, but she ha a good excuse. She was... one of those pets, the special ones. Walking with Tinypaws, my mum nicknamed her.

Re: your mother

Your reply is down there somewhere on another entry! Did Auntie Thu show up, then? Give her my love!

Oh! How I love cats! and I adore Naahmah's glowing green eyes, too. Giddy-Kitty has her moments of madness, too...usually when I'm trying to sleep...

Cassie is gorgeous, too.

Ooooh, moon-eyes. I love moon-eyes. So perfect!

And Cassie is playing up her mostly black-cat-ness and bringing out my utter weakness for black fur + copper/golden eyes.

So much teh love.

In fact, that's mostly the flash making Cassie's eyes look golden. In natural light they're somewhere between green and greeny-yellow; they do change but they're rarely as orange as the flash makes them look.

Mmmm. Tetrapod's eyes are sometimes rust-colored, sometimes yellow with green surrounding the pupil. It's surreal.

I've only owned torties and calicos. Why? It's nice to have someone in the house more psychotic than I am who doesn't cost as much to maintain. ;-)
