PEOPLE’S MILLIONS FUND
PHONE IN YOUR VOTE FOR CHELMSFORD’S GREEN SPACES ON 28TH NOVEMBER!
Chelmsford Environment Partnership (CEP) has been short-listed to compete for a People’s Millions grant (Big Lottery Fund and London ITN) for Chelmsford’s Green Pathways to Well-Being project. To win a grant for £68,500 CEP will go head to head with a rival project on ITN’s London evening news programme to try and ‘sell’ our proposal to TV viewers so they vote for us by phone on 28th November. The project with the most votes will win the grant. The Green Pathways to Well Being project will deliver physical improvements to 5 community allotment and local wildlife sites and help us create more opportunities for the community to take part in activities outdoors via new health and support referrals, improved access for those with mobility problems and encouraging more varied use of the sites. Our film will be broadcast on the ITN evening news on 28th November between 6 – 6.30 pm. Votes must be received on the 28th or your vote will count towards another project . The calls will be charged at standard rates and anyone in the UK can vote.
