Good rugby game at the park tonight. We were joined by a couple of seven-year-olds at first... Spike's always very keen on the little ones, but they're not really a lot of use in terms of providing him with exercise and amusement. Fortunately Jared and Hayden (both sixteen) turned up and helped give him a proper workout. Spike is exceptionally fond of Jared, and I've got rather a soft spot for him myself - pity he's not twenty years older...
Finished the last of the dry dog food tonight; this is the last time Spike's going to eat anything extruded or grain based. Went shopping at Asda and bought him some chicken wings and some minced beef for tomorrow - try and remember to phone the Real Meat Company in Poole tomorrow and enquire about their organic mince for pets - I have a feeling they may be willing to deliver it if I buy enough at a time, and I know it already contains offal and ground bone so it would be highly convenient.
Dullish night on TBBS tonight - well, it isn't, but I'm finding the place just a little flat and stale lately, for reasons that have very little to do with TBBS.
Mum has a copy of Patricia Cornwell's Blow Fly which she won't be reading till she's finished the last one, so I might just get away from the 'puter and do that instead. Or not - see how I feel.
