okay, caution wins. the headache won't go away no matter what I do and ...I can feel a certain slow stupidity and discoordination that's only normal for me first thing in the morning. When it continues for four days and won't be cleared by coffee, painkillers or fresh air it's time to take action. It's still a bank holiday today but I'll be calling the doctor tomorrow.

I was going to reference "Flowers for Algernon" in this post, and I had to resort to Google to remember the damn title. I would *headdesk* at myself but that probably wouldn't be wise either.

easter with family was pretty good. don't have the energy to post about it right now.

edit: been to casualty dept. kept me waiting HOURS. they checked me very carefully but ended by saying I'm fine as long as I don't start throwing up or having seizures. Now I feel like I made a big fuss over nothing, but my mum is glad I went so that's all right then.

May I suggest A&E now instead of doctor tomorrow? Those symptoms are not desirable. Pretty please do it for me or call NHS direct? Pretty please with sugar on top?

fuck. she thinks I should go to A&E. I just need to get hold of my mum or one of my sisters first because I'm not buggering off and leaving dogs and cats without anyone knowing where I am.

...and Mum called me back while I was typing that, and she has keys to my house. So I'm off now.

I thought that would be their advice. Head injuries are nothing to be complacent about.

I'll be chainsmoking at the kitchen table until you get back.

It wasn't for nothing. Head injuries can be very sneaky. One moment you're feeling a bit dizzy and stupid, the next you're in hospital because your brain is trying to escape from your skull!

I'm glad you went!

...why the hell don't I have any Eight icons? The man rocks my socks.

yeah, me too. I'd come back and do it now except i must nap. but YAY PIE!

Poor unloved Eight. Icons of him are harder to find, though. Could be why.

I wasn't on earlier anyway. I've been sort of @_@ lately with Subeta. My wrist hurts a lot lately, so doing stuff like Wizard's Quests, where I have to click a lot really quickly are just a nightmare. (Your wrist was hurting a lot too, recently, as I recall. How's that going?)
