I had to think about that one; I tune it out now, like I knew I would.
He doesn't snore when he sleeps any more, but he still makes puglike snorking sounds when he's active and moving around. I must take some video of him smelling things; it's harder work for him than it used to be and he has to crane his neck to get his blowhole REALLY CLOSE to what he wants to smell.
he still sniffs things?!!? aw that makes me grin so big! though now that i think about it its not exactly the nose that does the smelling, it just directs the air over the smelling parts.
yes, exactly - he still has his sense of smell, but his face isn't as well adapted to use it as it used to be. So it's harder work for him to get his sniff on, but still doable.
