Had the microphone for a while now, but typically, never got round to using it for voice chat until someone else suggested it. That was - interesting, though in some ways I prefer text... I think in text, which I believe is unusual, and the double-entendres work better that way too.
Also, it freaked my dogs out in a big way, especially when the computer talked to Spike in a strange man's voice. And I had to switch the radio off.
But that was fun, and it's taken my mind off the irritation nicely. Perhaps I will go to bed now...
Edited to add: There's one big drawback to the voice chat - no archive. I like going back over conversations. Sometimes it's nearly as good as having the conversation in the first place. Damn!
But before I creep off to bed, there's always one more meme - nicked from the lovely

Congratulations on being 400% smart! Actually, on my test, everyone is. The above score breaks down what kind of thinking you most enjoy doing. A score above 100% means you use that kind of thinking more than average, and a score below 100% means you use it less. It says nothing about how good you are at any one, just how interested you are in each, relatively. A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they are different kinds of thinkers. Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:
