OK, I'm 85 miles south of London, but a lot of my friends list are American and probably have a hazy grasp of UK geography, so in case anyone was wondering, I'm fine. My sister and her boyfriend do live in London, but they phoned and they're fine too. I have a bunch of friends in London and there's only one I haven't heard from yet (that would be Wind In Her Hair from TrekBBS)- fingers crossed. The likeliest thing is that she's caught up in the congestion of transport chaos somewhere - also, the mobile phone networks are down too. I am worried, but realistically, the chances of her having been hurt are very low.
Underneath all this, there's a rising tide of fury - how dare those bastards try to hurt my beautiful London? Luckily, she's a tough old bitch and she's put up with a lot worse, so a big fat Fuck You, "Secret Organisation Group of al-Qaeda of Jihad Organisation in Europe", or whoever the fuck you really are.
