They never, ever normally do this, especially on my couch which is a higher-status spot than their own (identical) couch. They usually have a strict one dog per couch rule. They must have been feeling unusually mellow that day.

Sometimes, when he holds himself just right, I can see the dignified stately dog Squish may one day grow into...



Spike is an awkward bugger to photograph because he won't ignore the camera. But occasionally he's interested enough in something else not to stand up and stare into it.
